Management

As the founder of ChinaNet, Mr. Cheng has been serving franchise industry and advertising media industry for more than 10 years. In 2003, he participated in the establishment of Beijing ChinaNet On-line Advertising limited and Business Opportunity Online (Beijing) Networking Technology Ltd. (www.28.com) engaged in operational, administration and management area. He won the title with "Top Ten China Planning Person" from China Plan Association in 2006 as well as "2006 China Internet Annual Innovation Person". He also has been elected as members in Internet Council in 2007. Under Mr. Cheng leadership, ChinaNet as a provider with network technology solutions, media and marketing services, has developed into a pioneer in the industry. Mr. Cheng received a Law Degree from Wuhan University, Wuhan, China and Executive Master of Business Administration from Guanghua Management School, Peking University, Beijing, China.

Mr. Chiu has been as our Chief Operating Officer since July 2020. Since March 2019, Mr. Chiu has served as the Corporate Finance Partner of Whale Capitalin Hong Kong. Since October 2016, Mr. Chiu acted as Managing Partner of Minghing Financial Group in Hong Kong. From April 2012 to September 2016, Mr. Chiu served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer in Wealth Leading Limited in Hong Kong. From August 2009 to April 2012, Mr. Chiu served as Assistant Vice President in Dah Sing Bank in Hong Kong. Mr. Chiu has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and is attending an Executive Master of Administration program jointly organized by Tsinghua University and INSEAD Business School. Mr. Chiu is also a Chartered Financial Analyst, Energy Risk Professional, Certified Management Accountant (Australia), Member of Institute of Public Accountants (Australia) and Member of Institute of Financial Accountant (United Kingdom).

As one of the founders, Mr. Zhang has years of experience in capital market, financial and software development managements. Prior joining ChinaNet, he was responsible for marketing and investment operation at Konka Group. In 2001, Mr. Zhang started working in software and network technology industry integrating with new advertising technology from PRECOM, who has wealth of experience in software development management and network technology advertising industry. In 2003, Mr. Zhang joined HSHZ (Beijing HSHZ Information System Engineering Co.; Ltd) served as director, Vice President, and COO; now he served as CFO of ChinaNet Online Holdings. Mr. Zhang received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Guilin University of Electronic Technology, Guilin, China.

Mr. Wu has served as our Chief Information Officer since February 2015. From 2012 to 2014, Mr. Wu served as the Managing Director of Trussti Technologies Pte Ltd. From 2010 to 2012, Mr. Wu served as the Chief Technology Officer of Blackwell Global Investments (Cyprus) Limited. Mr. Wu holds a bachelor degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Tatung University, Taiwan.
